On November 20, Suzhou Public Security Traffic Management Bureau and Suzhou 1048 Radio Station visited Liudao Wanhe Enterprise to carry out the “Traffic Safety” theme event.

Wang Zhuying, host of Suzhou 1048 Radio Station, said: There are thousands of roads, and safety is the first. The “Traffic Safety into Thousands of Enterprises” event of the 19th Suzhou Driver Cultural Festival was held at Suzhou Liudao Wanhe Enterprise, aiming to improve the travel safety awareness of enterprise employees, carry out traffic safety training and observation activities, let enterprise employees understand traffic rules, and achieve the purpose of civilized and safe travel.

Officer Zhang Yanbin of the Luzhi Traffic Police Squadron in Wuzhong District brought a vivid traffic safety training to Liudao Enterprise employees: During the lecture, Officer Zhang talked about traffic laws and regulations, traffic accident scenarios, and employee traffic precautions for going to and from work. He deeply analyzed the hazards of serious traffic violations such as speeding, drunk driving, and fatigue driving, and the dangers of employees not wearing helmets when riding bicycles. The lecture combined traffic violation cases in life for analysis, and used bloody facts to deeply analyze the various hazards caused by violating traffic rules. Enterprise employees should also know traffic safety knowledge, enhance prevention awareness, abide by traffic safety laws and regulations, and improve self-protection capabilities.

For YUDO Wanhe Enterprise, while doing a good job in daily production safety education and management, with the help of this event, we will improve employees’ travel safety awareness and create a corporate culture atmosphere of “obeying traffic rules and traveling in a civilized and safe manner” for YUDO employees. We hope that all YUDO employees can go to work and return home safely, so that all YUDO employees can gain more peace, harmony and happiness.

How much do you know about traffic safety knowledge?
Warm tips
1. Traffic markings
On the road, the various colored lines painted with paint are “traffic markings”. The long yellow or white straight line in the middle of the road is called the “lane center line”. It is used to separate the vehicles coming and going so that they do not interfere with each other. The white dotted lines on both sides of the center line are called “lane dividing lines”, which stipulate that motor vehicles drive on the motor vehicle lane. Non-motor vehicles drive on the non-motor vehicle lane. There is a white line around the intersection that is the “stop line”. When the red light is on, all kinds of vehicles should stop within this line. The corridor on the road composed of white equal lines like zebra stripes is the “pedestrian crossing line”. It is safer for pedestrians to cross the road here.
2. Isolation facilities
Traffic isolation facilities mainly include pedestrian guardrails and isolation piers or green isolation belts. Pedestrian guardrails are used to protect pedestrians, prevent pedestrians from crossing the road and prevent vehicles from entering the sidewalk. Isolation piers or green isolation belts are set on the road to separate motor vehicles from non-motor vehicles or passing vehicles. I hope everyone will not cross the guardrails and isolation piers or green isolation belts and walk into the road, otherwise there is a risk of being stopped by vehicles.
3. Traffic lights
At busy intersections, red, yellow, and green traffic lights are hung on all four sides. It is a silent “traffic police”. Traffic lights are internationally unified traffic lights. Red lights are stop signals, and green lights are pass signals. At the intersection, vehicles from several directions gather here. Some want to go straight, and some want to turn. Who should go first? This is to obey the command of traffic lights. When the red light is on, stop or turn left. Vehicles are allowed to turn right without hindering pedestrians and vehicles; when the green light is on, vehicles are allowed to go straight or turn; when the yellow light is on, stop within the stop line or crosswalk of the intersection and continue to pass; when the yellow light is flashing, warn vehicles to pay attention to safety.
4. “Inner wheel difference” of the car
Do you know how the car turns? The car relies on the front wheels to turn forward. As the front wheels turn, the car body gradually changes direction. However, the front and rear wheels are lifted on the same arc, but there is a certain distance difference. This gap is called “inner wheel difference”. Therefore, when we encounter a car that wants to turn, we can’t get too close, and don’t think that the front wheel of the car will be fine. Because of the “inner wheel difference”, if you are too close to the turning car, you may be knocked down and crushed by the rear wheel.
